Celebrity chef Paula Deen is getting attention Wednesday after dishing on how she shed 30 pounds in six months.
Deen, who is known for her rich and high-calorie recipes, revealed she has type 2 diabetes earlier this year.
Since the beginning of the year, the 65-year-old dropped around 30 pounds and transformed from a size 18 to a size 10, according to an article on Yahoo.com .

But how did she lose the weight? Deen reveals she doubles up on greens, has a spoonful of carbs, and has switched out regular potatoes and bread for broccoli, sweet potatoes, and fruit, according to the article.
The chef also reportedly used to skip breakfast, but now has a smoothie and pleases her sweet tooth with sugar-fee ice cream topped with fruit. Read more.
