Making our way into monsoon season, we'll probably start seeing some photos of lightning bolts that people were lucky enough to catch on camera.

One YouTube video that recently started to blow up across the Internet shows spectacular strikes of lightning a little too close for comfort.

The video was taken near a group of boats at Staten Island, New York by someone who clearly didn't expect such a close call.
