The former Kate Middleton must curtsey to “blood princesses” when she is not with Prince William, according to a recent report.
ABC News said this week the Duchess of Cambridge recently learned this after the Queen sent out an updated copy of the Order of Precedence to the royal household.
The document reportedly shows the rankings of members in the royal family.
Since she is a former commoner, Kate must curtsey to royal-borns in public and in private when Prince William is not with her, according to the article.
In those situations, she reportedly must curtsey to Princess Alexandra, Princess Royal, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie.
The article said when the duchess is with the future king she does not need to curtsey to them, but still needs to perform the gesture to the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Queen, and the Duke of Edinburgh.
