Conservative group One Million Moms has put JCPenney in the spotlight once again for a new Christmas commercial featuring comedian Ellen DeGeneres.
The commercial, which is supposed to be taken lightly, shows DeGeneres talking to a group of Christmas elves, but she ends up making "small" jokes.
Watch the commercial below.
One Million Moms targeted the commercial for being insensitive and "(offending) a huge majority of their customers again."
The comedian hasn't appeared in one of the stores' commercials since April, according to the Huffington Post , but the conservative group released negative comments about JCPenney hiring her because of her sexual orientation.
One Million Moms released a statement regarding the latest Christmas commercial scandal saying, "Christians must now vote with their wallets. We have contacted JC Penney's several times in the past with our concerns, and they will not listen. They have decided to ignore our complaints so we will avoid them at all costs."
Other viewers do not believe the commercial to be offensive, stating that the group should focus on other issues.
