BOSTON - The federal courthouse in Boston and the Brigham and Women's Hospital have been given an all clear after it was evacuated Wednesday afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
The Boston Globe is reporting that hundreds of people outside the courthouse were asked to evacuate and move away from the building, while security guards asked people inside the building to get out.
No reason was given for the abrupt evacuation, but several reports indicate the courthouse was cleared because of a bomb threat.
A large group of spectators and reporters gathered outside the building after reports of an arrest made in the Boston Marathon bombing.
