LYON, France - Women who were reportedly intoxicated on a British Airways flight earlier this week forced the plane to land a bit early.

According to ABC News, the plane from Gatwick Airport in London was headed for Tunisia.

Two women allegedly drunk on Malibu rum were swearing at children and threatened a flight attendant, reported ABC News.

They then reportedly wanted to meet the captain and started heading toward the cockpit.

ABC News reported the flight was diverted to Lyon, France where the women were then detained by police. You can read more on ABCNews.com.
