Losing some pounds might be as simple as boosting your metabolism.
In fact, eating certain foods can actually speed it up.
Here are some tricks to burning fat fast just by changing up your diet!
8 Ways to Boost Metabolism
Veg Out - Eat your greens! Veggies are high in fiber so they keep you regular, and boost your metabolism.
Cut Back on the Booze - Drinking these empty calories will actually make you hungrier because you’re not getting any nutrients. Plus, getting drunk limits your good food choices because you will try to eat off your hangover.
Go Cardio - Do 10 to 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise every morning to increase your heart rate and burn fat.
Don’t Overeat - Only eat enough to feel satisfied, not full. Grazing with four to six small meals helps normalize blood sugar levels and burn calories consistently throughout the day.
Go Nuts - Eat foods high in magnesium like nuts and whole grains, and rich in B vitamins like leafy greens and fish.
Keep Eating - Eat every four hours to keep your energy up and your body out of 'starvation mode.' Have a fruit basket of bananas, apples, and oranges in your car or office.
Sleep on an Empty Stomach - Your metabolism naturally slows down when your body is resting, so make sure not to eat at least two hours before going to bed.
Spice Things Up - Season foods with herbs like cinnamon, cayenne, and ginger, suggests Webb. They increase circulation and will speed up your metabolism.
