NEW YORK - There were dazzling flashes of light in New York City and it wasn't from paparazzi.
Mother Nature put on a light show over the New York City skyline Thursday night, as captured by CNN.
The storm was part of a system that stretched from Oklahoma to New York.
Thousands of people were left without power from the storms.
