Dog lovers listen up!

How aggressive your dog is on walks might have something to do with your gender.

One of the world's largest studies on dogs on walks has just been completed by researchers at Mendel University in the Czech Republic, and will be published in the journal "Applied Animal Behavior Science."

They say dogs being walked by men are four times more likely to threaten and bite other dogs.

The thought: men tend to be more aggressive.

Dogs, which are keen to their owners, pick up on this.

The study also found: dogs on a leash are more likely to act aggressively than dogs off the leash.

Researchers say this is most likely a reflection of the frustration dogs feel, when the leash prohibits them from expressing normal greeting behaviors.

Ladies and gentlemen go ahead and weigh in here.

Have you noticed any of these finding in your dogs -- when you take them out for a walk?
