Patrick Leach, son of 'Barney the Dinosaur' creator, arrested for attempted murder

PHOENIX - The "Barney the Dinosaur" creator's son was reportedly arrested for attempted murder, according to a Thursday report.
TMZ reported that 27-year-old Patrick Leach, son of Barney creator Sheryl Leach, was arrested in Agoura Hills, California for allegedly shooting a man in the chest.
According to the report, Leach allegedly tried to kill a 49-year-old man in Malibu, but failed.
The victim was reportedly treated at UCLA and is expected to survive.
