NEW YORK - A gospel singer says eating McDonald’s ruined her voice.
Jacqueline Simpson, 52, is suing the restaurant chain over a piece of glass she bit into while eating a chicken sandwich at a lower Manhattan McDonald’s, the New York Post reported .
“Now when I sing, I have a hoarse, rattly voice,” Simpson told the New York Post. “I still sing alto, but I can’t sing soprano like I used to.”
She says she bit into the piece of glass, which was bigger than a penny, at a McDonald’s near the World Trade Center in 2010.
In addition to her claims about the glass ruining her voice, she also said people whom she talks to on the phone at work often mistake her for a man.
“Before, that never happened,” she said.
