A retired law enforcement professional is the lucky new owner of a medical sling Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio listed on eBay earlier this month.
Buck Dikes, of Northern California placed the winning bid of $2,600.
Dikes will be in the Valley this July to pick up his autographed sling and photos from the Sheriff.
The sling received over 70 bids with an opening bid of $10.00 coming shortly after the auction was publicized on June 13, 2013.
The $2,600 will benefit the abused and neglected animals cared for by convicted inmates in Arpaio’s MASH unit.
Arpaio, 81, wore the sling for several weeks after breaking his left shoulder when he tripped in February.
