Poll picks Toad Suck, Arkansas as ‘most unfortunate’ town name

A new poll has picked Toad Suck, Arkansas as having the “most unfortunate” town name in the country.
Yahoo.com said the poll respondents from the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, and New Zealand picked Toad Suck ahead of Climax, Georgia, Boring, Oregon, and Hooker, Oklahoma.
The poll was done by a genealogy site and the spokesperson said some are disconcerted to find out their ancestors came from a place known as Toad Suck or Roachtown, according to the report.
Other spots that made the list include Assawoman, Maryland and Monkey’s Eyebrow, Kentucky.
