Photographer Suzi Eszterhas captures moment lion cub meets dad for first time

A photographer spending time with lions in Kenya captured the moment a young cub met his father for the first time and the images are circling the Internet Thursday.

ABC News said Suzi Eszterhas spent three months with the pride of lions on the Masai Masra National Reserve when she snapped the rare moment in 2008 or 2009.

The article said the mother keeps her cubs hidden in a den for the first six to eight weeks of life.

She will reportedly bring them out to introduce them to the pride and to meet their dad.

Eszterhas said in the article the cub approached his father in a shy manner and the dad tried to play with him right away as the mother watched. Read more and check out the photos!
