A new study shows that commercial weight loss programs like Weight Watchers may be just as effective, or possibly better, than working with a health professional.
The study was published in Obesity, a health journal.

According to WebMD.com, twice as many dieters on Weight Watchers lost at least 10 percent of their weight compared to people with a health professional.
The study was completed by monitoring 141 overweight and obese adults, WebMD wrote.
The findings are reportedly a big deal because clinical programs are usually more expensive.
