FORT WORTH, TX - Shoppers in Fort Worth, Texas browse the usual wares at a hunting depot until they come across one unusual item.
It’s no ordinary piece of furniture, think of it as the “Rambo” of couches.
The “Couchbunker” features a hidden gun safe, with room the stash up to 40 rifles and ammunition.
Bulletproof cushions are also an option.
A spokesman for the company that makes the Couchbunker says the hidden panels in the cushion will stop a 44-Magnum point blank.
“And hopefully, you never need these panels that go in the cushions,” Brian Poitevent says.
The cost of this security is expensive – the couch sells for around $7,000.
