New Jersey Chipotle restaurants are changing their practices after a two customers spotted something on their bills, according to a Wednesday report.
News10.net said the customers saw their bills were rounded up to the nearest even amount and a reporter revealed Chipotle’s registers were also rounding down to the nearest nickel.
The rounding up and down of the bills was reportedly done in an effort to limit the different combinations of change in an effort to help the lines from becoming long.
As of August 1st, the restaurants in the state will now only round down, according to the article. Read more .
