A news anchor got a big surprise on Saturday when she read a "breaking news" story on air, only to realize that she was being proposed to.
Jillian Pavlica knew about the proposal bit, but she had no idea it was she who was being asked - until she saw her boyfriend walking up to her.
Fox 54 reports that producer Dana Conley told her before the segment that there was breaking news, then fed the proposal into the teleprompter and told her to just read what appeared.
The "breaking news" script read, "We've got breaking news to share with you tonight. Fox 54 has just learned that a Huntsville news anchor is being proposed to on live TV right now!"
As she read, her boyfriend Vince came on camera, got on one knee and proposed.
She said yes.
