Jet skier Daniel Casillo easily breaks into JFK’s $100 million security system

NEW YORK - A New York jet skier is getting a lot of attention after he was easily able to break through John F. Kennedy airport’s $100 million security system, according to a Monday report .

Good Morning America said Daniel Casillo’s jet ski broke down as he was riding in Jamaica Bay Friday night.

Casillo reportedly called for help, but after he didn’t get any he swam toward the runway lights at JFK.

The article said he made it through motion sensors and cameras and climbed an 8-foot barbed-wire fence.

Casillo then walked through a perimeter detection system, across two runways, and entered Delta’s terminal 3 while wearing a bright yellow life jacket, according to the report.

A Delta worker reportedly spotted him and he was charged with criminal trespassing. Read more.
