PHOENIX - Clothing company H&M is making waves with its recent swimsuit ads that feature plus-size model Jennie Runk.
Runk is featured in the “normal” swimsuit section of the company’s magazine rather than the plus-size one, WMAR reported.
Some are praising H&M for its decision, while critics have knocked the company for the ad and for using size 12 mannequins in their retail stores, rather than traditional ones sized 4 or 6.
The average American woman is size 12, WMAR reported.
