Have you dealt with extremely strict rules in the workplace?

PHOENIX - Does your workday ever seem to drag on because your office has some silly rules?

A workplace blogger found there are bosses out there who don’t let people eat at their desks.

Another company told a worker she could only take three bathroom breaks a day, instead of her usual five or six.

And a different boss doesn’t allow employees to check email at work or chat with coworkers.

According to an MSNBC article, employers sometimes come up with these rules because of one person who isn't doing his or her work.

Instead of targeting that person, they come with blanket rules for everyone.
