Ex-boyfriend found living in North Carolina woman’s attic

A North Carolina woman hopes her ex-boyfriend is located after he was caught secretly living in her attic for weeks, according to a Tuesday report.

Yahoo.com said Tracy, who did not want to release her last name, heard a thump one night and spotted nails coming out from her bedroom ceiling.

She had her older sons and nephew go see what was going on and the ex-boyfriend, who had recently been released from jail, ended up coming down from the attic, according to the article.

He apparently smiled and offered no explanation before leaving.

The article said the man had been living in the attic for approximately two weeks and was sleeping in a heating unit with old clothes.

Various cups were discovered with human waste, according to the report.

Tracy had dated the man more than 10 years ago, but he reportedly helped her install doors at her home a year ago and she had not seen him since then.
