eBay sellers jump on the chance to make a buck, selling Twinkies for more than $100

A box of Twinkies sold for $59.99 on eBay after Hostess announced the company it is closing, according to ABC News .

Taking advantage of the craze, other eBay sellers list even higher prices, some at more than $100, ABC News reported.  That's more than 95 percent what they were marked in stores.

The demand for Twinkies was sparked after Hostess announced they were liquidating due to a union strike, according to ABC News. 

Stores nationwide reportedly sold out of the snacks within hours, some even quicker.
