California girl surprised with zebra on her birthday

SACRAMENTO, CA - A young girl got more than the average kid on her birthday, when her parents surprised her with a zebra.
That’s right, a zebra. And well, a donkey, too.
Brettany Lawton of Newcastle, Calif. got the two animals for her 10th birthday, according to CBS Sacramento.
The donkey reportedly came with the zebra to have a calming effect on him.
While some say big gifts like this are sending the wrong message to the child, Brettany’s father said it’s just teaching her about responsibility.
But we’re not going to play “parenting police” this time around.
