A woman in Texas says bacon is the key to long life. Before you doubt her—she’s 105.
Pearl Cantrell, a resident of Richland, Texas, told a Big Country Homepage reporter that she eats bacon every day and doesn’t “feel as old” as she is.
“I could eat it for every meal—and I do!” she said.
Cantrell’s love of bacon is so strong that it earned her a ride on the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile. An Oscar Meyer spokesperson called her an “inspiration.”
Before the Wienermobile left town, it left Cantrell with a case of free bacon.
