The ABC Investigators have new information involving a Ford Escape crash that killed a 17-year-old from Payson .

Ford has settled a lawsuit with the family of the girl, Saige Bloom. Details of the settlement are confidential.

Bloom was driving a 2002 Escape when it accelerated out of control and crashed.

The ABC15 Investigators aired a series of reports about complaints of stuck throttles and acceleration issues all involving 2001 through 2004 Escapes over the last decade.

It became a story with national implications. Ford recalled 485,000 Escapes from those years.

The National Highway Safety Administration is still investigating that recall.
