GILBERT, AZ - A new medical practice opening in the Valley will focus primarily on women's sexual health in a very unique way.
Sexual dysfunction affects nearly 100 million women in the United States, including lack of desire, problems with orgasm, low arousal, and painful intercourse.
This new "first of its kind" medical practice in Gilbert wants to help in a different way.
"SHE," Sexual Health Experts , is a place where women make their sexual health a priority.
Your first visit includes a personal suite, a concierge, a plush robe, lunch with your doctors, and even a one-hour massage.
However, board-certified Ob/Gyn Dr. Debra Wickman says the 4-hour comprehensive evaluation makes the biggest difference with things a general gynecologist doesn't have time to evaluate.
Rarely is a woman's sexual concern just a medical issue, which is why SHE combines gynecology, psychology, and physical therapy into one practice.
Your comprehensive treatment plan can involve non-FDA approved options, which she says helps improve libido.
Then there's that "little blue pill." What about for women?
Research has been mixed, but Dr. Wickman says it increases arousal and helps women achieve orgasm.
Female, sexual medicine is evolving every day, and this practice understands the shift: women recognizing their needs, moving forward, and giving themselves permission to focus on their sexual needs.
