PHOENIX - The Internal Revenue Service has put together the Tax Benefits for Education: Information Center which has a list of money-saving tips for students or parents of student s headed off to college.

The site offers information on educational tax credits, deductions and savings plans that may be a tax benefit when paying for college expenses.

It includes qualified educational expenses and whether or not some items are deductible.

It also has a list of credits you can possibly take.

You may also be qualified to deduct tuition, fees, and student loan interests, which are mentioned on the site.
