Valley businesses honor Veterans with freebies

Put your wallet away because there are all sorts of free stuff for Veterans to enjoy this Veterans Day weekend.

Veterans Day is Sunday and many restaurants are celebrating with free food.

All four Valley Famous Dave’s BBQ are offering former and current military personnel a free two meat salute, which is a $14 value. It comes with a choice of two different meats, one side dish and a corn bread muffin. Of course you have to show your military ID in order to get the freebie.

Port of Subs is giving all servicemen and women a free small cold sandwich on Veterans Day. Make sure you have your military ID with you. To find a Valley Port of Subs go to their website.

California Pizza Kitchen is offering a free meal to Veterans and active military with valid ID or proof of service. This is good on Sunday and Monday, November 12th.

Applebee’s is offering a free meal to military Veterans or active duty service members on Veterans Day. You can choose from seven entrees on their menu for free. Again, make sure to bring your military ID.

Get all you can eat pancakes at Denny’s . This free pancake deal is good for all active duty military and veterans with a valid ID on Monday, November 12, 2012.

Krispy Kreme is honoring all Veterans and active duty military with a free doughnut and small coffee. Limit one offer per person and you need to show military ID or show up in your uniform to get that freebie.

Veterans and military active duty head to Olive Garden on Sunday and choose one of five entrees plus unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks all for free that day. Of course you have to show proof you are a Veteran.

On Sunday, November 11 Humble Pie is offering a free pizza to U.S. Veterans and active duty military.
You must present U.S. Military ID or proof of military service.
