PHOENIX - If you're a Phoenix Suns fan and would like the opportunity to shoot on the same court they play on, now is your chance!
The Suns are inviting fans of all ages to come down to take their shot on the main court.
The event is called the Suns Operation Orange Shoot Around at US Airways Center. It takes place on Aug. 26 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
It’s also a free event, so you don’t have to pay anything out of your own pocket.
Suns Alumni Mark West and Tim Kempton will be there along with the Suns Dancers, Solar Event, Verve Sol Patrol and Gorilla. Dan Majerle will also be there from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Also, participants of all ages will have their chance to compete in a 3-point contest and skills competition on the Suns’ practice court. Prizes will be awarded within each age group. Younger participants will also enjoy two adjustable hoops, along with a Pop-a-Shot competition and inflatable slide in the lower bowl of the arena.
