I have to confess, I am an online shopper junkie. I love to shop online for clothes, eyeglasses, gift cards, home appliances, dog supplies, running shoes, airlines tickets and the list goes on and on.
No, it is not because I am lazy, but instead I've found if you have the right tools, you can find some awesome deals.
First, never buy anything online without checking to see if there is a coupon code for extra savings or free shipping. Retailmenot.com is one of my personal favorites, because it is simple and easy to use. You can also find coupon codes on sites like couponcabin.com or couponmountain.com , just make sure it is from a reputable website.
When ordering stuff online, of course you have to deal with shipping. Again, check coupon code sites for free shipping coupon codes. Also, often sites offer free shipping or free shipping with a minimum order. You can also check out freeshipping.org .
Gottadeal.com and Dealnews.com are one stop shops for finding a lot of the deals happening on the web. These sites help you save a lot of time and in the end, money, too. On these sites you can find most of the daily deals that so many retailers are offering. It truly simplifies finding deals and is definitely a bookmarker for me.
Here is another little tip for you Ebay shoppers. You can score a great deal if you know which auctions to bid on. When you find the item you want to bid on, only bid on auctions that are ending when most folks aren’t at their computers.
For example, let’s say you found an auction for a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Choose the auction that is ending at 2 a.m. on a Monday night, not the one that is ending on Sunday at 7 a.m. Avoid those times when the majority of folks are at home on their computer, because it could means less of a chance of you winning that auction at the price you want.
