If you have electronic items like big screen TV’s, appliances or electronics don’t stress about disposing of them properly. There are many places offering free drop-off for these items and they will properly dispose of them or repair and recycle.
The Lion’s Club is holding an event on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28. You can drop off any item to be recycled, or have any electronics properly disposed of. Plus, if you have any sensitive papers, you can also get them shredded for free at this event.

You can also participate in Earth Day activities all year long by recycling at home with your curbside bin recycling container.
Jennifer Giacoppa from Earth911 shared some tips on what you can recycle and put in your curbside bin. Milk and drink cartons, juice boxes, metal clothes hangers (please tie together with a metal twist tie), phonebooks and window envelopes are all good items to recycle.
You can go to the Earth911 website to see the full list of things you can put in your curbside pickup bin.
