We can't avoid eating, so save money on your groceries. I have your first look at deals you will find at Valley grocery stores this week.
Save on milk at Bashas’ this week. They have a half gallon of milk on sale for $.88 a piece and you can buy up to four at that price. If you want some strawberries to go with that milk you can buy a 16 ounce container for $.97 each. You can purchase up to three for that price. Have some tomatoes on the vine for just $.97 a pound and you can buy up to five pounds at that price. Bashas’ has small Hass avocados on sale three for $1. Need some meat for those bones? Bashas’ has Sanderson Farms split chicken breasts or leg quarters up to four packs for $.97 a pound. If you prefer beef, Bashas’ has boneless New York steak for $4.67 a pound. Get up to two packs for that price. If you need some breakfast foods, Bashas’ has you covered. If you buy any four Quaker or Aunt Jemima participating items, you get an additional $2 off, bringing those prices down to just $2 an item. So you can buy Life, Cap N’ Crunch, Quaker Oats or pancake mix for $2 each.
Shop at Albertsons this week and you will score a deal on boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.87 a pound. Plus, Albertsons has many $1 deals in their ad. One that stood out is Progresso soup, normally $1.99, but you will pay just $1. Also you can buy a 2 liter of 7-UP for just $1. Keep in mind, just because it is $1, doesn’t always mean it is a good deal. For example they have 32 ounce PowerAde for $1, not a bad price; but I’ve seen them on sale for $.79 or less. So do your research before buying anything. If you need some Roma tomatoes Albertsons has them on sale this week for $1 a pound.
Make a pit stop at Fry's this week. You can buy a dozen eggs for $.98 and there is no limit. Try some blueberries, a 6 ounce container for just $.99. You can buy Romaine, Boston, red or green lettuce for that same price of $.99 each. At Fry’s you can also score a deal on broccoli or cauliflower for $.99 a pound. Try some Kroger brand boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.88 a pound; and you can buy up four packs for that price. Or try some New York strip steak you can buy two packs for the price of $4.88 a pound.
Shop at Sprouts on Wednesdays. You will double your savings because this week and last week ads overlap on that day. While at Sprouts grab some asparagus for just $.88 a pound this week.
Safeway shoppers will score a great price on chicken leg quarters. Just $.59 a pound sold in a 10 pound bag. Have some potatoes to go with that. Safeway has a five pound bag of Russet potatoes for $.99 each.
This is just a few of the deals happening at Valley grocery stores this week.
Make sure to check your grocery stores ads and find coupons so you can really maximize your money.
