This week's best grocery deals for Labor Day

Labor Day weekend is around the corner and that means great deals at Valley grocery stores. I did the research to help you find some of the best deals on food this week.

Food City

Food City has five pounds of cantaloupe for just $1 with a limit of three, that is just one of the deals you will find a Food City this week. They also have peaches on sale, two pounds for $1 with a 6 pound limit. Quench your thirst for cheap at Food City; they have 32 ounces of Powerade for just $.50 each. In order to get that price you must buy 15 in one transaction and you are limited to buying 30 at that price.

Albertsons

Save on watermelon this week at Albertsons. They have watermelon on sale for $.17 per pound and you can buy two watermelons at that price. Albertsons has an awesome deal on 12 pack 12 ounce cans of Coke products. You must buy four in one transaction and spend a minimum of $25; and you will get each of those 12 packs for just $2 a piece! That's the best deal I’ve seen in a long time. Of course you are limited to one deal at that price. Also at Albertsons this week if you are in the military either active, reserve or retired you can get 10% off your entire bill. Just make sure to shop at Albertsons anytime during August 29th through September 4th to score that 10% off.

Bashas’

Bashas' has a deal on Powerade. You can buy up to 15 for just $.50 each. Buy some corn for $.15 each at Bashas' this week and get up to 10 for that price. Why not have some refreshing watermelon to go with your Labor Day celebration. Bashas' has watermelon on sale for $.19 a pound and you can buy two melons at that price. In Bashas' ad this week if you spend $10 or more and bring the coupon from their ad you can buy a 1.75 quart of Blue Bunny ice cream for just $1.88 each, with a limit of two. Buy boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.67 per pound at Bashas’. You can buy up to four packs at that price.

Fry’s

Cool down for cheap at Fry's this week. They have Popsicles and Fudgsicles on sale. You must clip the coupon out of Fry’s ad. Then you will get those treats for just $.49! You can only buy two boxes for that price. You can also buy Bar-S Franks for that same price of $.49 with the coupon and a limit of two. Stock up on 12 pack 12 ounce cans of Coca-Cola, Pepsi and 7UP at Fry’s. If you spend $25 or more and buy a total of four in one transaction you will get that 12-pack of soda for just $2.25 each. Fry’s has green seedless grapes on sale for $.69 per pound.

Safeway

At Safeway you can buy five ears white or yellow corn for $1.
