PHOENIX - You're breathing fast, your heart is beating hard and you're still in disbelief that you just got into a car accident. So what do you do? AAA just came out with a free app to help you figure out what's next.

It's called the AAA Insurance app. It walks you through everything you need to do after a crash, including showing you what information to collect, photos, and it even provides a one-touch access to notify police. You can also email a summary of traffic crash details directly to your insurance.

The AAA app is only good for the iPhone and iPad, but there are similar free apps available for other smart phones. Just go to your market and type in car accident.

So, as traumatic as the accident might seem, these tips can make the aftermath much smoother.
