PHOENIX - Make sure to stretch your dollars at Valley grocery stores. Get your first look at the deals you will find at Valley grocery stores this week.
Quench your thirst for a great price at Fry's this week. They have 32 ounce Powerade for just $.50 each. This price is only good during Fry's three day sale which is on Friday, Aug. 17 until Aug. 19. Plus Fry's has their buy 10 save $5 sale. So on select products, if you buy 10 of those items, you will get $.50 off each. For example, you could end up paying just $.99 for a two liter bottle of Pepsi. Make sure to look for those items throughout their store this week. Fry’s also has Yoplait Yogurt on sale for $.50 each. Which is a good price, but I found some coupons to go with that price to make it even better. Boxtops4education.com has a coupon for buy two of any Yoplait product get $.85 off. Those two Yoplait Yogurts will end up costing you just $.15.
Albertsons has you covered when it comes to chicken. They have Sanderson Farms breast, drumsticks, thighs and leg quarters just $.99 per pound. Have some blueberries for a great price at Albertsons. They have 18 ounce containers for $2 each with a limit of two. Albertsons also has select varieties of Kellogg’s cereal, Pop Tarts or Malt-O-Meal cereal for $1.88 each. Buy some milk to go with that cereal. One gallon will cost just $1.67 each and you can purchase two for that price at Albertsons.
Bashas' you will be able to buy hometown chicken breast or leg quarters for $.97 per pound. You can buy up four packages for that price. Try a half gallon of milk for $.88 each. Bashas' has that deal and you can purchase up to four at the price. Go bananas for cheap at Bashas', they have bananas on sale for $.35 per pound.
Stop in at Safeway and save on boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.99 a pound.
Food City has you covered when it comes to tomatoes. You can buy four pounds of tomatoes for $1. You can buy up to eight pounds for that awesome price. You can also score on peaches at Food City this week. Buy two pounds for $1 with a six pound limit. Plus you can stop by Food City on Friday, Aug. 17 or Aug. 18 and buy four pounds of bananas for $1 and you can purchase eight pounds for that price. You can also buy chicken drumsticks and thighs for $.67 per pound and two pack limits.
Don't forget on Wednesday, Sprouts Farmers Market ads overlap. That means on that day you will get the current and previous week’s sale items. You will also save on cantaloupes at Sprouts this week: buy three and you get them all for $1.
