PHOENIX - The weekend is here and I am going to show you how you can keep your wallet full and have some fun doing it.

Head over to Krispy Kreme at their new store in Mesa, near Main street and celebrate by getting some free stuff. Their doors will open at 5am on Tuesday, December 4th. The first 100 people to show up on that day will get free doughnuts for one year! You will also get a free commemorative t shirt to go with your year supply of doughnuts.

Go see the APS Electric light parade for free this Saturday, December 1st at 7pm. There will be many light decorated floats plus the parade's grand marshal will be the Disney character Goofy.

You’ll see some familiar faces from ABC15. The ABC15 morning crew, our weather gal Amber Sullins and Katie Raml and Steve Irvin will be your host for the parade. I’ll be out there in the Smart Shopper car.

The parade starts at Central and Montebello which is just south of Bethany Home road. The route will go along Central and turns east on Camelback and then heads south on 7th street and ends at Indian School road. You can view the parade anywhere along that route. Bring some blankets to stay warm and some chairs.

A free self defense class for women this Sunday, December 2nd from 11am to 12pm at Phoenix Longevity Arts in Tempe, anyone can attend. Just bring workout clothes, active shoes, water and something to write on for notes. The class will be taught by Jake Mace who is the owner.
