It seems like my check is already spent before it even hits my bank account.

There's a free site that will help you manage your spending without sharing your personal information.

It's called the Birdy and it's a finance tracker.

The site is really easy to use and helps you figure out exactly where all your cash is going.

Simply sign up online, then every day you will get an email asking how much you spent that day.

You decide what time you want the email in your inbox and if you didn't spend anything on a specific date just don't respond.

You can also text or tweet your purchases.

The site even breaks down categories that you choose.

Just put in the amount you spent, where, and add the pound sign to make a category, like grocery or entertainment.

By the end of the month, it's clear where you can save and where you can afford to splurge.

Make sure when responding to the emails that you delete any signatures in your email because it will count any numbers as money.

I had an address of 515 in my signature., and the site showed me spending $515.
