You don't have to go broke to have fun, because there are lots of free events and free food for you to enjoy.

Let's start with food.

White Eyes Fresh Fry Bread is opening at 11 a.m. next Friday and they're celebrating with free dessert.

Show up at their Glendale location next Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and get a free dessert fry bread.

It's only one free dessert per person, dine-in only, and it's only while supplies last.

Some valley malls are bringing shopping and education together.

The malls are partnering with National Geographic.

They will have Kids Club activities at several malls every week, including next Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Chandler Fashion and Arrowhead Towne centers.

The theme is polar party, and kids will have lots of activities, even some that they can do at home.

Speaking of kids, there will be free child safety seat inspections at three locations Saturday. It's from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

At the event, certified safety technicians will make sure your seats are installed properly, and that your child is in the right sized seat.

While you're there, NARPRO will also do free tire inspections, but everything is on a first come, first serve basis.

The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26th at three locations:

North Phoenix Baptist Church

5757 N. Central Ave.

Phoenix, Ariz. 85012
