The weekend is here! Let's celebrate by having fun for free.

Halloween celebrations seem to get earlier every year. The Nest Haunted House opens on Friday, and they are letting military and public officials like police and firefighters and their families in for free. Just show your military ID or public safety ID card and get free access for your entire family. The Nest is at Rawhide in Chandler and would normally cost $25 for admission, so this is a great deal!

If fear isn't your thing, how about some live music? The Chuck Hall Band will be playing the blues at the Tempe Tavern on Saturday, September 22nd starting at 8 p.m. Chuck will actually be celebrating his birthday.

And, let the kids jump around for free. Saturday is National Gymnastics Day, and Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics is celebrating with an obstacle course, bounce house and other activities. The event is Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and is free! It's for toddlers and kids up to age 17 and every child gets a goodie bag.
