Save money on your food bill this week. Valley grocery stores ads will soon be arriving at your doorstep. Here's your first look at what savings you can expect.
Save on a five pound bag of Russet potatoes at Bashas’ for just $.97 each. You can buy up to four bags at that price. At Bashas’ you can save on Frito snacks, Cheetos and Lay’s Potato Chips for $1.88 per bag. If you spend $15 or more at Bashas’ and clip the coupon in their ad, you will be able to buy Dreyer’s ice cream for $1.99 or Bar-S Meat Franks for $.49.
It is that time of the year for turkeys, and now you can start saving. Both Fry’s and Bashas’ have frozen turkeys on sale for $.79 per pound. You have to spend at least $25 on groceries in order to get turkeys for that price. When you do, you can get one turkey for that price. Score some boneless half pork loin at Fry’s this week for $1.97 per pound and you can buy two for that price.
Save money on Granny Smith, Red or Gala apples for just $.77 a pound at Safeway. Pick up some whole boneless pork loin for just $1.88 per pound at Safeway this week.
You are going to save a ton on food if you shop at Food City this week. They have chicken leg quarters for only $.59 per pound. They are sold in a 10 pound bag and you can buy two bags for that price. If you plan on doing your shopping at Food City on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you can score a deal on four pounds of bananas for $1; and get up to eight pounds for that price. You will save on brown onions at Food City. Buy eight pounds for the amazing price of $.96, with a limit of eight pounds.
If you shop at Albertsons you will save on bananas. You can buy those bananas for just $.39 a pound. Grab a gallon of milk for just $1.59 each and get two for that price at Albertsons this week. You can get a great price on 80% ground beef at Albertsons. If you buy three or more pounds, you can get each pound for just $1.99. Albertsons has their Mix and Match sale happening this week. If you buy eight participating items you can take $.50 off each of those items. For example, select varieties of General Mills cereal would cost $1.99, but play the Mix and Match game and you will get that cereal for just $1.49.
Buy three avocados for $1 at Sprouts this week. Also don’t forget that on Wednesdays Sprouts ads overlap, so it means double the savings.
Make sure to check your stores' ads and their website for additional savings and coupons. Try to match sale items with manufactures' coupons if possible because you can really save when you can stack those sales and coupons together.
