Come celebrate Arizona's birthday, meet the Diamondbacks, plus more for free

I am sure you know that February 14th is Valentine’s Day, but there is a big event happening for Arizona on that day and you will get something out of it for nothing.

On February 14th, 2012 Arizona is celebrating 100 years of statehood. This weekend will be a big celebration called Arizona Best Fest Phoenix , which runs on Saturday from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. This event will take place in the Arizona Capitol area, set up between 10th and 17th avenues and Washington and Jefferson streets. This free street festival will include main stage headliners like Michelle Branch, Jerry Riopelle and the Gin Blossoms on Saturday. If you like George Benson you can see him in action on Sunday, February, 12th plus many more. Plus, there'll be a Western town, a family fun zone, the Arizona Centennial Motorcycle Ride, Arizona storyteller’s theater, Arizona wines and craft beers and so much more. This is going to be huge so stop and learn and have some fun.

The eighth annual Subway D-Backs Fanfest is Saturday, February 11 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Chase Field. The best part is you can go for free. Of course this is hosted by the Arizona Diamondbacks and of course you will be able to meet many current and former Diamondbacks' players. You remember Luis Gonzales; he will be one of the former players at the Fanfest. Plus you will have coaches, alumni and access to places and people you would normally not be able see. For the first 3,000 fans that attend you will receive a Subway cash card loaded with amounts ranging from $1 up to $100. Plus autographs and so much more.
