To help make sure you’re prepared for your next road trip, Desert Car Care is offering free safety evaluation tests.

A $50 value, Desert Car Care will check 15 different features on your vehicle including lights, belts and hoses, fluids, tires, windows, filters, mirrors, batteries, emergency brakes and child seat belts.

This special promotion is only available today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 95 N. Dobson Rd. in Chandler.

While your inspection is being performed, you and your family can enjoy music, cold beverages and prizes, and you can also be put in a drawing to win a Keurig coffee maker.

There will also be a “Dunk the Mechanic” tank involving owner, Frank Leutz!

Leutz says that taking the time to perform proper checks on your vehicle is just as important as any other pre-vacation chore and can help avoid dangerous mishaps on the road.

In fact, according to The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 2,600 recorded fatalities have been due to "insufficient vehicle maintenance."

For more information on how to receive a free safety inspection, call 480-736-6400 or visit their website.
