Score some touchdown deals on food for your Super Bowl celebration. Valley grocery stores ads are out and you will save if you shop.
Bashas'
Serve some pizza for a great price. Bashas' has red baron frozen pizza on sale for $2.88 each. Don't forget your veggies! Bashas' has asparagus for $1.28 per pound and you can buy up to five pounds for that price. Tomatoes go well with anything, especially when you can buy large or Roma tomatoes at Bashas' for $.88 a pound.
Serve some appetizers at your Super Bowl party. Bashas' has Lay's Potato Chips, Wheat Thins, Ritz Bits, Triscuit and Chips Ahoy cookies, all for $1.99 each.
Bashas’ has a great deal on T-Bone or boneless Top Sirloin steaks for $4.47 a pound and you can buy two packs for that price. A pretty good deal, especially considering beef is on its way up in price. If you want chicken instead, Bashas’ has the deal. Sanderson Farms boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.77 a pound. You can buy up to four packs for that price.
Throw some hot dogs on the grill because Albertsons has a buy one get one free on beef franks. You can buy Nathan’s or Ball Park beef franks for this deal. Grab some buns to go with those franks. Albertsons has Ball Park hot dog and hamburger buns for $1.88 each. If you need some soup you will score on Campbell’s tomato or chicken noodle soups at Albertsons for just $.50 each. You can buy up to six cans at that price.
At Sprouts you will score a deal on avocados three for $1 or Roma tomatoes three pounds for $1.
Fry's shoppers you will be serving Tombstone frozen pizzas for a great price, just $2.79 each. Fry's also has Clover Club potato chips for $1.25 each. Serve BBQ ribs at the party; Fry's has St. Louis style pork spareribs for $2.77 per pound. Fry’s ad this week you will get a deal on select varieties of Post cereals or Frito Lay Natural chips for $1.99 a piece. These are just a few examples of the savings you will get when you participate in Fry’s save $5 when you buy 10 participating items. Make sure to look for those participating items in order to get those savings.
Wednesdays are a great day to shop. At Safeway on Wednesday, Feb. 1 you can buy Tostitos tortilla chips up to four bags for $1.69 each. Or try 2 liter Pepsi or 7-UP for just $.79 each on that same day.
Also on Wednesdays, Sprouts ads overlap so you are getting double the savings. Both Fry's and Bashas' on the first Wednesday of each month you will get 10 percent off your entire bill if you are 55 years or older. If you plan on shopping at Albertsons on Saturday, Feb. 5 both seniors and military get 10% off that grocery bill.
