PHOENIX - No matter what age, kids need their backpacks for school. But you don't have to use all of your back-to-school cash getting one.
So I went from store to store to see where you will find the best price.
I checked the prices at Big Lots , Wal-Mart , Target , OfficeMax and Sears .
And there were so many types of backpacks in different colors, styles, and sizes.
WALMART
The most expensive bag I found at Walmart was $19.88. Not a bad price.
But it gets even better because Walmart had backpacks as low as $4.88.
TARGET
Target also had pretty good prices.
Their bags start at just $9.99, with their highest priced backpack at $54.99.
OFFICE MAX
It's a little more at OfficeMax; backpacks there ranged from $19.99 to $64.99.
SEARS
Sears didn't have as much variety, but all of their backpacks cost $30.
They also had messenger bags for $22.
STAPLES
We found the most expensive bags at Staples , but they also had more name brand backpacks like Puma.
Those bags will cost you $80.
But they did have other backpacks as cheap as $19.99.
Staples also was the only store where we could find roller backpacks.
Still the cost was kind of high at $60 for one roller backpack.
AMAZON.COM
I searched a little deeper and went online looking for roller backpacks and found them cheaper than $30 on amazon.com , plus free shipping.
That's half of what you would pay at Staples.
So bottom line, we found the cheapest prices at Walmart.
But if you know exactly what you're looking for, search online to get the best deal, and you'll even find reviews.
