Thanksgiving Day may be over, but the deals at Valley grocery stores have not stopped.
Quench your thirst for cheap at Fry's this week. They have 32-ounce bottles of Powerade for just 59 cents each and with no limit, so stock up on this deal and save big. You might be a little burnt out on turkey, so buy some chicken instead. Fry's has boneless skinless chicken breast on sale for $1.67 per pound and you can buy up to four packs at that price.
Score a deal on select varieties of General Mills cereal at Albertsons this week. You can buy Cheerios, Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal or Nature's Valley and Fiber One bars for $1.49 each. You have to buy four qualified items in one transaction in order to pay that price. Grab some milk to go with that cereal. Albertsons has one gallon jugs of milk for $1.67 each, and you can purchase two for that price. I am hoping that someday it gets cold here in the Valley. If that occurs, soup usually sounds good to eat. Albertsons has Progresso soups on sale for $1 each, regular cost is $1.70 each. If you shop at Albertsons on Saturday, December 1st, and you work for the military, or are retired from the military, you can save 10% off your entire bill that day. Also, if you are a Cardinals fan on game days, wear your Cardinals gear and stop in at Albertsons to get 10% off your entire bill.
Safeway has you covered on milk. Get a gallon for just $1.57 each and you can buy two for that price. Safeway also has a 12 pack of 12-ounce cans of 7-Up for $2.50 each. Not a bad deal if you consider that you are paying only $1.25 for a 6-pack of soda. At Safeway if you buy 10, 32-ounce bottles of Powerade for $1, you will get five bottles for free. That brings the cost of each of those 15 bottles of Powerade to just 67 cents each.
Food City is giving you a great price on Roma tomatoes this week. You can purchase four pounds for only $1. You can buy up to eight pounds for that price. If you need some cucumbers, you can buy seven for 99 cents. Stop in a Food City on Saturday, December 1st through Tuesday, December 4th and you'll be able to buy five avocados for 99 cents with a limit of 10. You can also buy some boneless skinless chicken breast up to two packs for $1.59 per pound on those same days. Also at Food City, you can buy three pounds of bananas for just 99 cents and you can buy up to nine pounds for that price. Stock up on pineapples because Food City has them on sale. You can buy 3 pounds for 99 cents and get up to three whole pineapples at that price. Lots of great produce deals at Food City.
Score a deal on California navel oranges at Sprouts this week. You will pay just 49 cents per pound. If you need some all natural boneless skinless chicken breast, you can buy it for just $1.88 per pound. Don’t forget Wednesday’s are the best days to shop at Sprouts because the new ad and last week's ad overlap for double the savings.
Bashas has a smashing deal on pineapples. You can buy one pineapple for just 99 cents and get up to four at that price. You can buy 2 liters of A&W, 7-Up, RC Cola or Canada Dry products for 88 cents each at Bashas’ this week.
Make sure to look at your grocery store's ads and check out their website for additional savings and coupons. Also don’t forget your coupons and make a list and stick with it so you can make sure to get the most savings on your food.
