You must eat so do it without going broke. Here are some of the Valley grocery store deals that caught my eye.
At Sprouts you can score a deal on Roma tomatoes. They are selling those tomatoes for just $.48 per pound. Sprouts is also selling avocados for just $.48 each.
Pro's Ranch Market
Stop in at Pro's Ranch Market to save on ground beef. They have 73 percent lean ground beef sold in a five pounds or more package for $1.59 per pound. Save on green limes at Pro's Ranch Market too. They have three pounds for $.99. You can also buy a 32 ounce bottle of Powerade at Pro’s for $.59 each. You can purchase up to eight at that price.
If you work in the field of first responders, you will save 10 percent off your entire food bill from September 11-17 at Albertsons. Albertsons also has a buy one, get one free deal on many items like eggs. Plus, you can save on a gallon of milk. Albertsons is selling a gallon for $1.89 each with a limit of two.
Head to Food City and get a great price on pineapples. You can purchase three pounds for $.99 and get three whole pineapples at that price. Food City has a three day sale starting on Friday and going until Sunday. During that sale, you can buy pork brisket ribs sold in a bag or value pack for $.99 per pound with a limit of two packages.
Have some raspberries for a good price. Fry's has 6 ounce containers on sale for $.99 each, and you can buy four containers at that price. Plus save on a gallon of milk at Fry's. You can buy a gallon of milk for $1.87 each with a limit of two. Also, Kroger brand chicken drumsticks or thighs are just $.99 per pound at Fry’s this week.
Satisfy your sweet tooth at Bashas' this week. They have green seedless grapes for $.77 per pound. You can also save on select varieties of General Mills cereals at Bashas’. If you buy four qualifying boxes of cereal in one transaction, you will pay just $1.50 for each. Save some money on peaches and nectarines at Bashas’ as well because they have them on sale for $.88 per pound.
Quench your thirst for cheap. Safeway has 32 ounce bottles of Powerade on sale for $.59 each. Here's the best part, there are no limits on this so stock up and save. Safeway has Post Bunches of Oats and Fruity Pebbles on sale for $1.88 each.
