Baking soda and vinegar are cheap to buy plus they have so many uses especially when it comes to cleaning.
Try cleaning your bathroom with these two cleaners and a few other things you probably already have around your home.
If you have soap scum in your tub you can scrub it away without having to buy a cleaner. All you need is little muscle power, distilled white vinegar and equal amount of dish soap, plus a non-scratching sponge and a spray bottle.
If you can warm up the vinegar beforehand that would be ideal, but you can still use the cleaner without warming up the vinegar. Pour distilled vinegar half way into spray bottle and then same amount of dish soap in spray bottle. Spray the mixture onto the soap scum and let it sit for about 15 to 30 minutes. Then scrub away the soap scum and rinse. Repeat if necessary.
If you want a soft scrub for general bathroom cleaning purposes, this is a simple to make and use household cleaner. You will need a bowl or container to put the cleaner in, add ¼ cup baking soda and a few drops of dishwashing soap, just enough to make the baking soda a thin paste. Then spread the cleaner on your tile or tub and scrub away with a soft sponge. Then rinse when done and repeat if necessary.
I found another recipe on DIY website which is similar to the Soft Scrub recipe but instead of using baking soda, you can use Borax and just add ½ tsp. of lemon.
Now you can keep your bathroom nice and clean and save money plus without any harsh chemicals.
