Tuesdays are not just another weekday. Tuesday means "Taco Tuesday" and you can score some deals on tacos at many Valley restaurants.
Chico’s Grill is located in the Safeway shopping center on 7th Street and McDowell. On Tuesdays you can choose from a carne asada, shredded beef, or chicken taco for $.99 each. There is a catch, you have to buy a minimum of three tacos in order to get them for $.99 each on Tuesday. Chips and salsa from their salsa bar is included in that price. Normally their tacos range in price from $1.99 up to $2.79 and the fish taco is not included in the taco Tuesday deal.

If you go a little further north on McDowell off of 7th Street, you will run into America's Taco Shop . They offer four tacos for $6.95. You can choose from either chicken or pastor (marinated pork) tacos. Normally those tacos would cost you $2.35 each instead of $1.74 each.
