It is Friday means it is time to find out what is happening for free.
Kids will be back to school soon, so get those immunizations done, but do it for free. On Saturday, July 14 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at ASU Prep Academy they will be hosting a Back to School and Health Fair event . You can get free immunizations, health screenings, dental and eye checkups, plus haircuts. If you show up with your kids, the first 1,000 kids will get a free backpack full of school supplies. All of this is courtesy of Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Plus they will have free mammograms for free for women. ASU Prep Academy is located at 735 East Fillmore in downtown Phoenix.
You can learn some home improvement tips at Home Depot with their free workshops. This Saturday, July 14, you can learn how to install laminate flooring; the workshop is from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, July 15 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. they will have a closet and storage workshop. Just look up a Home Depot location near you and show up.
Dress like a chicken today, July 13, and head over to Chik- fil - A and get a free meal. It is Cow Appreciation day. If you don’t have a cow outfit, don’t worry about it. Go to Cowappreciationday.com to print out a cow starter kit and this will qualify you for a free meal.
